Description

War Memorial Cross, built around 1920, is located on the north side of East Hagbourne Main Road. It features a stone octagonal base consisting of three steps. The base supports a tapering octagonal shaft that holds a cross with a gabled cover. This memorial was likely created to commemorate the remains of a nearby medieval cross. It is included for its group value.
