EAST HAGBOURNE MAIN ROAD SU5388 (North side) 15/30 War Memorial Cross

GV II

Cross. c.1920. Stone octagonal base of 3 steps. Shaped base to tapering octagonal shaft supporting cross with gabled cover. This cross was probably intended to realise the remains of the medieval cross (q.v.) near by. Included for group value.
