Description

This is a late 17th-century house with alterations from the 19th century. It is characterised by large timber framing, with a brick infill laid in a herringbone pattern. The roof is covered in old plain tiles, with a brick ridge stack at the centre. The house follows a two-unit lobby-entry plan and is single-storey with an attic. It has a two-window front, set at a right angle to the street. A plank door is centrally positioned, sheltered by an open porch with a gabled roof of old plain tiles. There are three-light wooden casement windows to the left and right sides of the front. A gabled dormer window, added in the 19th century, is located on the left side. The right return displays two 20th-century windows on the ground floor, and a four-light wooden casement window in the gable end, which is clad in tiles. Large timber framing is visible at the rear of the property. The interior has not been inspected.
