Description
Numbers 18 and 20, known as Dormer House, is a house that now serves as both a residence and an office. It dates from the mid-17th century and features a rendered exterior, likely built on a timber frame, with an old plain-tile roof. The building has a brick chimney stack on the left side and a ridge stack positioned to the right of the center. It is a single-storey structure with an attic and has a three-window range.
The entrance is marked by a 20th-century panelled door located to the left of the center. To the left of the door, there is a three-light wooden casement window, while the center features a 20th-century angled bay window topped with a hipped plain-tile roof. To the right, there is a four-light wooden casement window. The house is adorned with three gabled dormers. Inside, there is a straight flight staircase and a queen-post roof. The central area of the ground floor has a chamfered spine beam with decorative end stops, an open fireplace, and a blocked fireplace to the right.
