Description
No. 2 and No. 6 Main Road is a house that has been converted into two dwellings. It dates from the mid-17th century. The ground floor is finished in painted brick, while the first floor features large timber framing with angle braces and rendered infill. The roof is covered with old plain tiles and has a brick ridge stack located to the left of the center. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window range and a cross-wing on the right side. There is a 20th-century door on the right return. The windows are arranged irregularly, with casements and a blocked window on the first floor to the left of the center. A gabled dormer is positioned in the center, and there is a raking dormer on the left return of the cross-wing. The interior has not been inspected.
