Description
No. 2 and No. 4 Cavern Road is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and has a rendered front, topped with a slate roof featuring brick end stacks. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys tall with a four-window front. On the ground floor, there is a double-entry on the left side, with a hood mould over a panelled door that is set in panelled reveals. The windows are 16-pane sashes with margin panes, except for a plate-glass sash located to the left of the door. The gabled roof dormers have bargeboards and mid-20th century windows.
