Description

No. 83 and No. 85 High Street is a building dating from around the 17th century, featuring a timber-framed structure with a brick front and roughcast end and rear walls added in the early 19th century. The roof is covered with plain tiles and has gabled ends, along with a brick dentil eaves cornice. The building stands three storeys tall and has a three-window range with two and three-light casements. The doorway of No. 83 is adorned with moulded pilasters, an entablature, and a fielded panel door, while No. 85 has a modern door-case. There is an off-centre brick ridge chimney stack.
