Description

This is a 17th-century timber-framed house on the south side of High Street. The walls are largely plastered and have brick infill panels, with a stone and brick plinth at ground level. The roof is steeply pitched and clad in Welsh slate, with gabled ends. The house is one storey high, with attics. It originally had three windows across the front. The windows are now modern casements. Distinctive timber-framed gables feature console brackets supporting crenellated tie-beams and decorative fleur-de-lis panels above what appear to be blocked windows. A modern timber-framed porch has been added. A central brick chimney stack is prominently visible.
