Description

Nos. 72, 74, and 76 on High Street are an early 19th-century range of houses with a stucco finish. They feature a plain-tile roof with gabled ends and rise to three storeys across five bays, with the left-hand bay splayed forward. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, and the doorways have pilastered doorcases with console brackets that support cornices. Nos. 72 and 74 have a continuous cornice and a blind fanlight above the doors. The shop fronts have been altered significantly. This building is included for its group value.
