Description
The Barns is a barn that has been converted into a house, dating from the early 18th century with a conversion in the late 20th century. It features a base of 20th-century red brick, timber-framing, and weatherboarding, topped with an old plain-tile half-hipped roof. The structure is a three-bay barn that is single storey with an attic, presenting a five-window range that runs at right angles to the street. There is a 20th-century door leading to a recessed porch at the center. The windows exhibit irregular placement, featuring 20th-century casements and sloping roof lights. The interior has not been inspected. To the right, there is a two-bay open shelter shed attached, and a lean-to extension connects to the barn at the rear. There is also an extension to the left that links to what is likely a former shelter shed.
