Description
Green Shutters is a house dating from the mid-17th century. The ground floor features render on the left side, likely over brick, and painted brick on the right side. The first floor has large timber-framing with rendered infill and painted brick infill on the right. The roof is thatched and half-hipped, with a central brick ridge stack. The house is two stories high and has a three-window range. There is a 20th-century door in the center with a flat hood above it. All openings have 20th-century two-light casements, except for a single-light casement on the ground floor right of center and a three-light casement on the right. The left return shows timber-framing with a Queen-post roof truss at the gable end. The interior has not been inspected. There is also a 20th-century two-story, two-window extension on the right, which may include earlier work.
