Description

Sundial Cottage is a house dating from the mid-17th century, with later alterations. It is constructed with a render finish, likely on timber-framing, with exposed timber-framing and brick infill below the eaves. The roof is of old plain tiles, with a brick ridge stack centrally located. The house is single-storied with an attic, and has a two-window front. A plank door is set within a lean-to porch on the right return. The ground floor has two horizontal sash windows with painted wooden architrave surrounds. Two raking half-dormers light the attic. Timber framing is visible on the left return. A timber-framed cross-wing with a thatched roof extends to the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
