Description

The Old Barn is a barn that has been converted into a house. It likely dates from the 17th century and was converted in the late 20th century. The building features weatherboarded timber framing and brick on a coursed clunch-rubble plinth, topped with an old plain-tile roof. It has a seven-bay plan with a central porch, and the rear wall is made of 18th or 19th-century brickwork. The roof is half hipped, and the porch framing is now partly exposed. Inside, the roof has double queen-post trusses, and 20th-century windows have been installed in front of the framing.
