Description

Earlier 19th century. Asymmetrical single storey lodge with

gatepiers.

LODGE: rubble-built with ashlar dressings; architraved windows mostly with wooden mullions, lying-pane glazing pattern retained throughout. E elevation: canted window in advanced gable left, square porch in re-entrant angle. Queensberry crest in round-arched panel over N gable window. Shaped skews; corniced end and axial stacks; roofed with graded

slates.

GATEPIERS: 4 square piers with flat pyramidal caps; curved

quadrants with moulded cope.
