Description

The burial ground and Queensberry burial enclosure at Gooley Hill, Kinmount House, was established in the second half of the 19th century for the Queensberry family of Kinmount. It features a circular area enclosed by an iron fence with a gate on the west side. Within the enclosure, there are several impressive late 19th and early 20th century sculptured stone monuments, many adorned with classical ornamentation, as well as some sculptured figures and a tall St Martin's-type cross.
