Description

Circa 1900. Single storey lodge with elaborate wrought-iron

gates, piers and railings.

LODGE: T-plan with piended swept roofs; snecked bull-faced

red ashlar with polished dressings; S elevation with 2

advanced bays left with cavetto eaves moulding, door and

remainder of walling behind timber verandah with main roof

swept over. Corniced end stacks, that to E rising from 2-bay

wall-head gable, that to W transversely set with projecting

breast. Continuous string at cill level; windows boarded up

(1986). Red tile roof. Modern addition to N.

GATES AND GATE PIERS: elaborate wrought-iron gates, finialed

hollow square piers and railings all with intricate curved

ornament.
