Description

This is a high walled burial ground, roughly triangular on plan. The main (1890) entrance has cast-iron carriage gates; there is also a pedestrian entrance (leading to the old church: see separate designation) flanked by piers incorporating re-used material. The burial ground contains the 1632 and 1890 churches (see separate designations) and also 17th century and subsequent tombstones.

In accordance with Section 1 (4A) of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) (Scotland) Act 1997 the following are excluded from the listing: scheduled monument SM89 (see separate designation record).
