Description

The burial ground at St Peter's Church in Essil is a roughly circular area enclosed by rubble walls, situated on a mounded site. The entrance is located on the east side and is flanked by mid-19th century octagonal gatepiers that feature shallow facetted caps, along with a pair of cast-iron gates. Inside the burial ground, there are various tombstones dating from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries.
