Description
The Garmouth Hotel, located on South Road in Garmouth, dates from the later 18th century. The building is harled with margins and consists of two storeys. The main block features three windows and a simple corniced doorpiece on the ground floor, with three additional windows on the first floor. There is a two-bay full-height extension at an obtuse angle on the west gable, which has an enlarged ground floor window and 4-pane glazing. The hotel has end and ridge stacks and a slate roof, along with a wing at the rear.
Additionally, there is a single-storey function room to the east, which was formerly two cottages, also harled and with a slate roof.
