Description

The Bay View Hotel, located at 57 Seafield Street in Cullen, dates from 1820 to 1830. It is a 2-storey building with an attic and features four bays, likely originally two separate 2-bay dwellings. The hotel has a significant later rear wing constructed from various materials. The exterior is harled with contrasting painted ashlar margins. The entrance is off-centre, and there are piended dormers in the outer bays. The northwest gable has a regular 2-bay arrangement with a small attic light, and the windows primarily have 4-pane glazing. The building is topped with slate roofs and has coped end stacks.
