Description
The dovecot at Braco Park dates from the early 19th century and is a small square structure. It is constructed from harl pointed rubble with tooled rubble dressings. The east elevation features a low off-centre entrance, while the east and north elevations have a pair of flight holes. Additionally, there is a small square aperture on the south elevation, all situated just above an encircling alighting ledge or rate course. The roof is pyramidal and covered with slate.
Inside, the dovecot contains approximately 100 nesting boxes, some of which are broken, and others have been repaired with heavy red tile vertical members.
