Description

The dovecot at Netherdale Home Farm dates back to 1774 and is a cylindrical structure with two stages. It is built from squared and pinned rubble, featuring granite ashlar dressings and an encircling alighting course. There is a door on the east side, with a marriage stone to the left dated 1774, displaying the initials J I and H G. A small opening is located on the south side, and there is a semi-circular flight-hole with voussoirs above on the west side. The dovecot is currently roofless.

Inside, there are no nests remaining, but a potence base is present at the center.
