Description

The dovecot at Strathenry House dates back to the 17th century. It is a single chamber structure with a lean-to design and a rectangular plan. The walls are made of random rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and crowsteps. There is a central door on the south side, and the roof is slated. Inside, the dovecot is lined with stone nesting boxes.
