Description
The Post Office at 7 Pitsligo Street in Rosehearty is an early 19th-century building that may include elements from an earlier structure. Originally a single-storey, 3-bay cottage, it was raised in the later 19th century to feature a symmetrical two-storey, 3-bay frontage. The exterior is harled with tooled ashlar margins, and there is a central entrance with two narrow windows lighting the north gable. The first-floor windows have 12-pane glazing. The building has coped end wallhead stacks and a jerkin-headed slate roof.
