Description

Early to earlier 19th century. 2-storey with attic, 3-bay rectangular plan symmetrical house. Squared and snecked whinstone; harled dormers; contrasting sandstone dressings and quoins; painted surrounds to openings.

N (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: central doorway; timber door; letterbox fanlight; single window at 1st floor; single windows to both floors of flanking bays, (single window at ground in bay to left non-aligned to upper floor). Canted dormers to outer left and right at attic.

12-pane timber sash and case glazing; replacement glazing to bottom sashes of ground floor windows and aluminium dormers; rooflight. Grey slate roof; stone skews; coped apex stacks; circular cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1997.
