Description

The Post Office at 22 Dalrymple Street in Girvan is a building from the later 19th century. It has two storeys and five bays, constructed from painted squared rubble. The central door is topped with a bracketed pediment, and there are later flanking windows. A continuous cornice runs above the ground floor. On the first floor, there are tripartite windows in the outer bays and single lights in the inner bays, all featuring earred architraves. The building is finished with a cornice and a slate roof.
