Description

Probably Barbour and Bowie. Dated 1907. Edwardian free-style garages/workshop. Single storey. Stugged red coursers with polished dressings, architraves and channelled angle pilaster strips.

E elevation: 2 2-bay pedimented gables linked by open shelter, sliding garage doors behind latter, oculi in tympana with oversized keyblocks; unroofed small court to right with screen walls and gatepiers and piended outer range. Louvred windows with small-paned upper lights. Blocked eaves. Iron and steel-trussed roofs with louvred and gabled axial ventilators, all slated; single large corniced stack; rooflights.

Interior: car pits; some electrical/belt driven workshop machinery possibly original.
