Description

The building is a garage located in the estate yard immediately north of the barn, dating from around 1900, with 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of slatestone rubble with granite dressings and features a slate roof with ridge tiles and gable ends. There are gable end and axial stacks with brick shafts. The garage has a rectangular plan with car entrances at the front and was originally designed with workshops on the first floor, which are built into the bank at the rear.

The exterior is two storeys tall with an asymmetrical front. On the right side, there are two large double doorways with granite segmental arches, and a single door with an overlight to the left. A single-storey lean-to is at the right end, featuring a single casement window with a segmental arch. The first floor has a 20th-century two-light casement on the right and a long seven-light window on the left, which previously lit the workshop. The right end has two 20th-century two-light casements on the first floor, and the left end also has 20th-century casements. At the rear, there are double doors with a segmental arch in the lean-to, along with an external stone stair leading to a 20th-century plank door with a flat hood. There is another external stone stair off-centre to the right, leading to a similar door, with a 20th-century two-light casement to the left.

The wall attached at the left end of the garage is about 2 meters high and encloses the north side of the estate yard; it was rebuilt in the 20th century. It features a pair of stone rubble piers with a square plan, convex-shaped granite caps, and ball finials, along with 20th-century wooden gates. The interior has not been inspected.
