Description
A group of eight urns is located in the garden to the east of Lanhydrock House. These urns date from the late 18th century and were modeled by Louis Ballin, who was a goldsmith to Louis XIV. They were brought to Lanhydrock around 1900. The urns are made of bronze and are set on granite plinths. Each urn features decorations of swags and masks in high relief. At the east end of the east garden, there are two sets of granite stops, with a pair of urns positioned at the top of each flight of steps. Additionally, four more urns are placed to the west in the east garden.
