Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay house, formerly with shop to ground. Bull-faced whinstone walling, painted raised rusticated angle and window margins, painted raised basecourse 1st floor band course. Cornice. _Centrally placed pilastered and corniced doorpiece, panelled door with fanlight. To left, former shopfront glazed as bipartite, with door to right, double-leaf with fanlight; bipartite window to left with timber mullion. Otherwise all windows single light, sash and case with 12-pane glazing. Painted eaves band and eaves cornice. Flat-roofed extension to porch at rear. Tall rusticated corniced end stacks with octagonal cans, modern concrete tile roofs. 2 skylights to front. Stone built, slate-roofed outbuilding, former stable to rear.
