Description
19-21 Albert Street is an earlier 19th century, two-storey house with a symmetrical three-bay front. The building is constructed from bull-faced coursed whinstone rubble, featuring polished sandstone margins, quoins, and an eaves band. A central pilastered doorpiece leads to a panelled door with a fanlight, which is accessed by a flight of steps. The windows are all single sash and case with a two-pane glass glazing pattern. The house has end skews, coped rusticated end stacks with octagonal cans, and slate roofs. There are also a pair of piended canted dormers that include three basket-arch lights. At the rear, there is a single-storey lean-to extension.
