Description
31 Main Street in Kirkcolm is an early 19th-century single-storey cottage with a symmetrical three-bay design. The building features finely dressed granite quoins and granite monolithic margins, with rubble walling. There are steps leading up to a central doorway that has a panelled door and a traceried fanlight above it. The cottage has single light windows that are sash and case style with 12-pane glazing. At each end, there are skews with large roll skewputts, corniced end stacks, and a sandstone ridge. The roofs are piended slate, and there are dormers located at the rear.
