Post Office, 6, 7 The Square, Glamis

The Post Office at 6 and 7 The Square in Glamis is an 18th-century, two-storey house with a rectangular plan, forming part of a regular terrace on the southwest side. The exterior is harled with painted margins.

The northwest elevation, facing The Square, is symmetrical, featuring a boarded timber door at the centre flanked by windows in the adjacent bays. The first floor has regular fenestration with a blank centre bay.

The southeast elevation is asymmetrical, showcasing a variety of architectural elements, including an advanced bay to the left of centre, which has a door that serves as the entrance to No 6. The windows throughout have 4-pane glazing in timber sash and case style. The roof is covered with grey slates and Angus stone slates, and there are coped ashlar and brick stacks with cans.
