Description
4 St Clair's Entry in Kinghorn is an 18th-century, two-storey house with a raised basement, featuring a three-bay rectangular plan within an irregular terrace. The exterior is harled with stone margins.
On the southeast (principal) elevation, there is a bay to the right at the raised basement that includes a two-leaf timber door, with an adjacent bay window to the left. To the left of the centre, there is a small window next to a forestair leading to a timber door at the centre. The flanking bays have windows, and there are additional windows in the centre and left bays on the first floor.
The northwest (rear) elevation has a small window to the outer right at the basement and two windows on each floor above, with stone steps descending to the northeast.
The windows are timber sash and case with 9- and 12-pane glazing patterns. The roof is covered with pantiles and has a slate eaves easing course. The chimney stacks are coped and harled, featuring thackstanes and ashlar-coped skews.
