Description

Dated 1774. 2-storey and attic, 2-bay, rectangular-plan house in irregular terrace and on ground falling steeply to SE. Harl with painted margins.

NE (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: boarded timber door in bay to left of centre and window to right, 2 tall windows to 1st floor and 2 small pivot windows to attic, truncated gablehead stack.

SE (ST CLAIR'S ENTRY) ELEVATION: centre bay with door at ground and forestair leading from right to 1st floor door with plate glass fanlight and carved lintel '17 DG AS 74'. 2 windows to right of centre at ground and further window to left with low pend entrance to outer left. Window to right and 2 to left of centre at 1st floor. Timber dormer window over bay to right of centre.

NW ELEVATION: largely abutting rear of Nos 34-36, but with segmental-headed pend opening to outer right.

4-pane and plate glass glazing in timber sash and case windows unless stated above. Pantiles. Harled stack.
