Description

Late 18th to early 19th century with later alterations. 2 storey and attic, 3-bay rectangular-plan asymmetrical house with gable end to street, adjoining 2-storey 3-bay house to W (see Notes). Harl-pointed rubble to S; harled gable to E. Cement-rendered margins to windows; 2nd floor windows hugging eaves.

S (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: architraved part-glazed timber panelled door at ground in bay to centre; window at each floor above. Window at each floor in bay to left. Window at 2nd floor in bay to right.

E (VICTORIA STREET) ELEVATION: 2-bay gabled wall. Window at each floor to left. Window at ground and 1st floors to right. Gablehead stack above.

Predominantly 12-pane timber sash and case windows; fixed small-pane windows at 2nd floor. Grey slate roof; stone ridge; 2 unevenly disposed rooflights to S pitch; harled corniced stack to E; common harled corniced stack to W; cement skews; uPVC rainwater goods.
