Description

Earlier to mid 19th century with later alterations. 2 1/2 storey rectangular-plan house with gabled end to street (E), gabletted dormers to N, subdivided and converted at ground to N as shop, adjoining 2-storey house to W (listed separately). Coursed, pointed rubble; cement-rendered and lined at ground to E, around NE angle, with margins to openings; cement margins defining 3-bay harled shop front to N.

N (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: deep-set modern part-glazed door at ground in by to right of centre; window at 1st floor above. Window at each floor, including dormer, in each bay remaining.

E (VICTORIA STREET) ELEVATION: window (formerly door) at ground to right; window at 1st floor above. Window at ground to left. Gablehead stack above.

2-and 4-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; slates to dormers; stone ridge; concrete skews; corniced rubble gablehead stacks to E and W; predominantly uPVC rainwater goods.

INTERIOR: converted as shop to N; remainder not seen, 1997.
