Description

Dated 1765. 2-storey, 3-bay house with stepped, 2-bay single storey wing. Coursed rubble with squared rubble quoins and margins.

SE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: symmetrical. Part-glazed timber door with dated lintel to centre, windows in flanking bays and regular fenestration close to eaves at 1st floor; carved scrolled corbel to outer left angle close to eaves. Stepped roof, single storey bays to outer right; each with door to left and window to right.

NW ELEVATION: ground floor with part-glazed timber door to centre and small window in bay to left, further window to centre at 1st floor. Single storey bays to outer left with 2 windows.

SW ELEVATION: gabled elevation with window to each floor at outer right.

4-, 6-, and plate glass glazing patterns in timber sash and case windows. Grey slates and overhanging eaves; Angus stone slate to single storey wing. Coped squared rubble stacks with thackstanes and cans.

BOUNDARY WALLS: rounded rubble coped rubble boundary walls.
