Description

Dated 1713. Single chamber, rectangular-plan lectern dovecot. Narrow bands of coursed rubble with dressed rubble doorway. Stepped rat course/alighting ledge of Angus stone slate and ashlar cornice. Angus stone slate roof and ashlar-coped skews.

SE ELEVATION: steps up to centre door with dated door jambs, armorial panel inscribed ?HOP IN THE HEIST? and dated 1565 over alighting ledge and corniced canopy above forming base of pointed-arch opening.

INTERIOR: stone nesting boxes in good condition.
