Description

The Dovecot at Findrassie House dates from 1631 and is designed as a lectern dovecot. It is constructed from harled pointed rubble with ashlar dressings. The south elevation features a low central door with chamfered margins and a small barred aperture above it. A rat course at the rear extends a short distance along the sides. The structure has crowsteps and a slate roof, which is in poor condition. Inside, there are approximately 470 stone nesting boxes lining all four walls.
