41, 43, 45 Marischal Street, Aberdeen

41, 43, and 45 Marischal Street in Aberdeen are later 18th century, two-storey townhouses with an attic, featuring a five-bay classical design on a sloping site. The exterior is constructed from Loanhead granite ashlar with raised margins and includes a moulded eaves course. The central bay has a timber door with a lugged and moulded architrave, while the door to No 41 is flanked by fixed 16-pane windows. Above the doors to Nos 43 and 45 are rectangular fanlights. A single canted tripartite dormer is located on the far right.

The first floor has 12-pane timber sash and case windows. The roof is covered with grey slates, and the ashlar skews are complemented by a coped ridge stack made of granite ashlar at the street side and red brick at the rear, with clay cans. The property also features cast-iron rainwater goods.
