Detached house. C18. Local stone rubble, rendered and colourwashed, with ashlar lining to front elevation; double Roman clay tiled roof, hipped at west end with return northwards at slightly higher level; brick chimney stack on rendered base. 'L'-plan; 2 storeys, 5 bays. To ground floor, 3-light horizontal-bar casements bays 1 and 2, a C20 casement bay 4 and a single-light small-pane casement bay 5. Above, 3- and 2-light leaded casement windows of early pattern. To bay 3 a boarded door in heavy frame, with flat timber hood on wrought iron brackets. West side elevation has a door and 2 casements, also a pump with wood casing, lead spout, and semi-circular stone bowl under. Interior not seen. About 2 metres south east of house a cast iron water hydrant of later C19, a fluted pillar on plinth, with band to head featuring a lion's head and four keyed stopped spouts, surmounted by fluted domical head with bud finial, one of several in this village. About 2 metres from the house, marking the southern boundary, a row of 7 cast-iron slim moulded bollards, formerly with iron tube toprails.
