Description

The boundary wall immediately east of No 1 Gentlemans Row is a structure from the 18th century or earlier. It is made of ham stone rubble and stands approximately 3.5 to 4 meters high, extending about 60 meters in length. The wall features thin ashlar copings and includes six buttresses with offsets along its length. It was likely originally connected with Haselbury House and now serves as the northern boundary for Grafton and Haselbury Cottage, which are not included in the listing. The wall is also marked by gateways leading to both cottages.
