House, now 2 shops. C17, eaves raised and altered late C19. Incised stucco with crested pantile roof, stepped stone coping and truncated brick stack to right gable end, and one to centre of ridge. 4-unit plan with rear wing to the left. 2 storeys; 4-window range. First floor has 4 late C19 two/two-pane sashes at eaves level; the ground floor has a C19 four-panel door to the left of the central stack, which is the entrance to the left-hand shop; this has a cast-iron crested cornice, fluted consoles with gabled tops and recessed trefoil heads, to each side of the fascia. Shop to the right is C20. INTERIOR: totally altered, but the roof structure is above a C17 A-frame roof of a steeper pitch.
