Description
30 Bridge Street is a house that has been converted into a shop, dating from the late 18th century. The exterior is finished in stucco, topped with a plain tile roof, although the rear pitch features 20th-century composite tiles. There is a brick buttress stack on the left with a 20th-century superstructure, and another 20th-century stack on the right front. The building has three storeys and a cellar, with a two-window range that includes 6/6 sash windows in moulded cases and 3/6 sash windows above. The eaves are deep and plastered. The central entrance features a half-glazed panelled door that is sheltered by a moulded wood flat hood supported by fluted pilasters, with 6/6 sash windows on either side. The left side of the building is returned and finished in stucco, with a rendered stack base. The rear also has a stucco finish, with single lights, a two-light casement, a 6/6 sash, and another sash in a moulded case on the ground floor. The interior has not been inspected.
