Description
Churchill House is a house that has been converted into a shop. It dates from the late 18th century and was restored in the late 20th century. The building features a combination of stucco and brick, with painted ashlar dressings and a slate roof topped with a brick gable stack. It has a plinth and stands three storeys tall, displaying a four-window range of original 12-pane sash windows. Above these, there are four 9-pane sash windows. The entrance, located in the second bay, consists of a round-arched panelled double door with a fanlight above it.
Inside, there is a dogleg stair with winders, intersecting string, and stick balusters. The ground floor rooms are adorned with moulded cornices, and one room features an elliptical recess.
