Description
This building consists of five townhouses that have been converted into shops. They were constructed in the early 19th century and are made of red brick with ashlar dressings, topped with a slate roof that features two ridge stacks and a single gable stack. The building has a wooden eaves cornice and stands three storeys tall, with a seven-window range. The windows are adorned with wedge lintels and double keystones.
On the ground floor, there is a central late 19th-century wooden shopfront that includes pilasters and brackets supporting a fascia cornice, along with a recessed door and a plate glass window. Flanking this are two late 20th-century shopfronts. Above the ground floor, each of the upper floors has five windows and two blank spaces. On the left side of the building, each floor features two original glazing bar sash windows, while the remaining windows have been renewed.
