Description
29 and 31 Mill Street are two houses located in Leominster, dating from the 17th century, with later alterations. They feature a timber-frame and plaster construction, topped with a plain tile roof and brick end stacks. The buildings are two storeys high with an attic and have a two-window range. The early 19th-century windows are 3/3 sashes set in moulded cases, and there are two 19th-century gable dormers with 2-light casements. The entrances are centrally located and consist of 19th-century four-panel doors framed by moulded architraves, with a central casement light above. The overall design includes 3/3 sashes in moulded cases and a moulded wood band. There are 20th-century prentice-boards. At the rear, there are two 2-light casements beneath simple hoods and two gable dormers. The interiors were not inspected.
