Description
Hubbard Antiques is an early 19th-century inn that has been converted into a shop. It features painted brick construction and a hipped Welsh slate roof, with a brick stack located at the left front and another at the rear. The building stands three storeys high and has a three-window range, showcasing 19th-century 6/6 sash windows in moulded cases beneath rusticated stucco lintels, with 3/6 sashes above. The eaves have boarded soffits.
The central entrance consists of 20th-century double doors with six fielded panels and an overlight with glazing bars, all sheltered by a moulded wood flat hood supported by panelled pilasters. On either side of the entrance are late 19th-century plain sash windows. The right side of the building is finished in stucco and features an 8/8 sash window in a moulded case above a canted bay that has three 6/6 sashes, all under a moulded cornice. The rear of the building has various lights and casements, along with a wing that has a 20th-century plain tile roof and an end stack. The interior has not been inspected.
