Description
15 and 17 Mill Street are a house and cottage located in Leominster, dating from the early 19th century and 18th century. The buildings are constructed of brick and feature Welsh slate roofs that are hipped to the south. There are two brick stacks at the rear and a lateral stack on the left front of the cottage.
No. 17, likely a remnant of a terrace that was built to the south of No. 15, is two storeys high with a single-window range and a two-light casement. It has a 20th-century door in an altered opening beneath a timber lintel, and to the left, there is a 20th-century bay window with a slate pentice roof.
No. 15 is also two storeys tall and has a two-window range, featuring 6/6 sash windows in rendered reveals under segmental arches. The central arch has a simple 20th-century porch and is flanked by two 6/6 sashes under segmental arches. On the right side, there is a tier of 6/6 sashes under segmental arches. The interiors have not been inspected.
