Description

29 Silver Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. It features a facade made of Ham Hill stone ashlar, with a brick return on the left side. The roof is slate, with stepped stone coping and brick stacks at the gable ends, which are truncated on the right. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high, with a symmetrical three-window arrangement. All windows have keyed lintels and forward frames, although they have been replaced with 20th-century plastic windows. The doorcase includes panelled reveals and pilasters that support a moulded flat hood, and the entrance has a six-panel door topped with three panes in the overlight. The interior has not been inspected.
